The community of Wisbech Lithuanian started the preparation for Easter by celebrating Palm Sunday on April 2
On Sunday, 2nd April The community of Wisbech Lithuanian started their morning by attending the Church and its services at the Our Lady & Saint Charles Borromeo Church, they prayed with Rev James Caulfield and distribution of palms while making cross shapes with it.
After that, the mass families of distinct communities participated in the Easter workshop which was organised next door which is recognised as Rosmini Centre and also supported to enhance the creativity related to the decorations that were made for the purpose of displaying the Easter Egg in the garden of the church memorial.
Many children also attended the celebration of Easter and they enjoyed a lot with the animators that were arranged for the palm festival. Different delicacies were made for celebrating the festival. Not only that, but the people of the concerned community also arranged different games and own prizes which were donated by the community members. They also supported sponsoring the raffle of Easter.
According to the opinion of a person, the officials of the Wisbech Lithuanian Community are grateful to the people who made the celebration enjoyable. Some people also mentioned that the presence of different communities also made the celebration joyful. The meeting with the friends from a distant location was the best part of the celebration.
Some of them also mentioned that the display of the festival that was arranged on 2nd April will last till 11th of April. So, they are welcoming everyone to participate in the celebration. They have no boundaries related to clicking pictures, so they are approaching to come and enjoy the festival fully. You can enjoy the festival with the Easter bunnies and customers that were arranged by the members of the community. It will help you to generate a lovable memory.
