Plaza Premium Group, the global airport hospitality leader, has opened a second lounge at Rome Fiumicino Airport in the Terminal 1 Schengen area. This new lounge, spanning over 400sqm, offers modern travellers a luxurious and refined experience while awaiting their flights.
Designed to offer “a luxurious and refined experience to modern travellers,” the lounge features elegant marble and natural wood elements, divided into different zones inspired by Italian culture, art, and architecture. The lounge can accommodate up to 76 guests and includes shower facilities for travellers to refresh and rejuvenate.
The buffet bar is staffed and offers a selection of freshly-made international dishes. Additionally, the lounge has partnered with Italian fragrance brand Dr Vranjes Firenze, whose home fragrance diffusers create a unique and immersive atmosphere of relaxation and indulgence.
“The launch of our second lounge at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport in Rome represents a significant milestone in our regional expansion plan and a positive sign for post-pandemic recovery,” said Okan Kufeci, Senior Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Plaza Premium Group.
The group’s first lounge at Terminal 3 has been included in the Top 5 Skytrax World’s Best Independent Lounges in 2022. This new lounge in Terminal 1 is designed to expand the company’s footprint in Italy and provide best-in-class service to all travellers.
